Utah's Premier Fly Shop

Since our inception in the early 2000’s Eddie Robinson’s Fly Fishing has been dedicated to providing top quality gear from the best brands in the industry. We are not a big box store and we know it, our inventory selection is based on our customers demand to have the best performing fly fishing gear available. We select only the best flies, from leading fly manufactures, and specifically the patterns that are effective on the many waters we fish here in Utah. Our number one priority has always been to the customer, and because we are an actual brick and mortar pro-shop we are able to dedicate our time to helping each individual angler who walks through our doors.

Get to Know Our Staff

Rebeca Granillo

Fly Fishing Expert

Get to know Rebeca

Rebeca has an immense love for hiking and the outdoors and became a fly fishing addict after a friend invited her on a hiking excursion in the High Uinta Mountain Range that included a bit of fly fishing in 2011. She felt right at home fly fishing as it only gave her an excuse to spend more time in the out doors where she is quite at home.  Rebeca immediately sought out work within the fly fishing industry where she remains to this day.  Among other reasons Rebeca loves to go fly fishing because it serves as a personal reset for her.  “Fly Fishing seems to stop time and makes all of life’s troubles melt away” she says.

Rebeca has a contagious laugh and a kind peaceful spirit that makes everyone feel comfortable. She has a passion for life and learning, and a meticulous nature that makes her an absolute pleasure to be around and to work with.  In short, Rebeca is an amazing human being and we are so fortunate to have her on our staff.

Lyndi Young

Fly Fishing Expert

Get to know Lyndi

Lyndi began fly fishing at age 12 when she received her first fly rod from her grandfather. She began fly fishing in the Abajo Mountains in Southeastern, Utah and began traveling with her family on fly fishing excursions to the San Juan River and throughout the Rocky Mountains. Her fly fishing travels then led her to the Mexican Caribbean, the Henry’s Fork and the South Fork of the Snake River.

Lyndi’s college experience forced a new turn in Lyndi’s fly fishing when she began camping and fishing with close friends.  Her time in the outdoors taught her to love being in the moment and to appreciate the people she is with. These experiences influenced her greatly, and began the transformation of her passion, to a true love of fly fishing.

Lyndi is a very principle driven person who has a hunger for knowledge and learning. She loves to learn and fishes with pre-determined goals of things she wants to learn each and every time she fishes.

“I don’t really have a preference of how I am fishing or what I am fishing for.  I don’t like being limited in any way. I don’t fish with an agenda. I love fly fishing in remote places. I love the adventure and I prefer to live in the moment. For me, fly fishing is therapeutic and peaceful. When I fly fish I don’t feel any pressure, just peace…”

Lyndi’s advise to all fly fisherman is to not get so hyper-focused on the fishing, that you forget to enjoy the beauty of your surroundings or the people you are with.

We were so fortunate that Lyndi entered our doors on a random day and quickly made her part of our team. She has incredible management and leadership qualities and continues to be instrumental in the ongoing expansion of our business and and training of our staff.

Ryan Kjar

Fly Fishing Expert, Fly Tying Instructor

Get to know Ryan

Ryan has been fly-fishing the waters of Utah for 25 years and has spent a majority of that time fishing the Provo and Weber rivers respectively. The vast amounts of knowledge that Ryan has accumulated over the many years he’s spent fishing the Provo River and his familiarity with its conditions makes him an excellent Provo River fly-fishing guide and an incredible angler. Among the Provo and Weber rivers Ryan has fished from Mexico, British Columbia, Scotland and all over the Western United States. Over the last ten years Ryan has been honing his fly tying skills, and if you have ever spent time fishing with or being guided by Ryan, chances are you have caught fish on a pattern he has tied himself. When Ryan isn’t manning the shop or guiding clients on the river you can find him casting dry flies to rising trout or at his vise tying some of his favorite fly patterns.
